20 апреля 2022 года в Библиотечно-информационном центре имени Н.А. Островского была проведена информина «Капелька жизни». Цель встречи со слушателями  —  повысить осведомленность о необходимости сдачи крови и  ее продуктов, привлечение  молодых людей в ряды доноров.

Присутствующие – учащиеся Ростовского строительно-художественного техникума  с интересом слушали выступление библиотекаря, который рассказал об истории праздника, о почетной миссии донора в России. 20 апреля  люди выражают благодарность тем, кто добровольно и безвозмездно сдает свою кровь, необходимую для  ежедневного  спасения сотен  тысяч человеческих жизней.

Студенты узнали много интересных фактов из истории этого движения, просмотрели презентацию «Быть донором — спасать жизни», познакомились с книжной выставкой «Донор – значить дарить!», получили буклеты «Донор – это почетно», содержащие информацию о том, что такое донорство, кому и зачем оно необходимо, кто и когда может стать донором.
